Jaipur, May 29: In a major anti-narcotics operation, Pratapgarh Police in Rajasthan have frozen movable and immovable assets worth approximately Rs 3.2 crore belonging to two alleged drug traffickers as part of “Operation Trinetra”.
The action was taken under Section 68-F(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act under the supervision of Pratapgarh Superintendent of Police B. Aditya, officials said on Friday.
According to police, the properties were allegedly acquired using proceeds generated through illegal drug trafficking activities.

The proposals for attachment and freezing of the assets were prepared by Chhoti Sadri Station House Officer Shambhu Singh and later approved by the Competent Authority and Administrator under the SAFEMA framework in New Delhi.
In the first case, authorities froze assets worth Rs 1.55 crore linked to alleged drug trafficker Shaifulla Sheikh.
Sheikh was arrested in January 2026 following investigations into the seizure of more than 4.5 kilograms of MDMA from an unregistered motorcycle in November 2025. Police said he had allegedly arranged the narcotics consignment for supply to Ajmer.
During the financial investigation, police identified agricultural land worth Rs 55 lakh in Basad village allegedly purchased using illegal earnings from drug trafficking.
Officials also traced a luxury bungalow valued at nearly Rs 1 crore, reportedly constructed from illicit funds on land possessed by Sheikh’s father. Both properties have now been frozen.
In another operation, police attached assets worth Rs 1.65 crore belonging to alleged narcotics smuggler Bhuralal Labana.
Labana is accused in a 2023 case involving the seizure of 492 kilograms of doda chura from an overturned vehicle in Pratapgarh district.
Investigators alleged that Labana invested proceeds from illegal activities in the names of his family members to avoid detection.
The frozen assets include a residential plot worth nearly Rs 1 crore located on Arnod Road in Pratapgarh, registered in the name of his wife, agricultural land valued at Rs 55 lakh, and a Kubota tractor worth around Rs 10 lakh purchased in his son’s name.
Police officials stated that both accused have several criminal cases registered against them in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh involving narcotics smuggling, illegal arms possession, assault, forgery, and other offences.
Pratapgarh SP B. Aditya said the campaign against drug trafficking networks and their financial infrastructure would continue aggressively.
“Strict action will continue against drug traffickers as well as those who support or shelter them directly or indirectly,” he said.
