Mumbai, May 23: Actor Prakash Raj has completed filming for the upcoming thriller Drishyam 3, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, describing the shoot as a “fantastic” and memorable experience.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the set, Prakash Raj posted an image featuring a clapboard marked Drishyam 3, along with a note expressing gratitude to the film’s team. He said he thoroughly enjoyed being part of the project and added that audiences would also enjoy the final film.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced under Panorama Studios, the film has been in production since December in Goa. It continues the popular Drishyam franchise, known for its suspense-driven storytelling centered around an ordinary family caught in extraordinary circumstances.

The latest installment also features returning cast members including Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, and Rajat Kapoor, while actor Jaideep Ahlawat joins the franchise, adding a new layer to the narrative with his intense screen presence.

The Drishyam series revolves around Vijay Salgaonkar, a man who goes to extreme lengths to protect his family after a crime threatens to expose their past. The sequel explored how the family attempts to rebuild their lives years after the original events, only to find their secrets resurfacing.

The franchise, originally inspired by the Malayalam film of the same name, has been remade in several Indian languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, due to its widespread popularity.

Drishyam 3 is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
