Mumbai, May 19: Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak on Tuesday revealed the name of their newborn daughter as “Aarika”, saying the name symbolises grace, abundance, prosperity and divine beauty.

The couple shared the announcement through a joint post on Instagram along with pictures featuring their baby girl.

Introducing their daughter, the couple wrote that Aarika carries the essence of Goddess Lakshmi and represents prosperity and divine grace.

They also revealed that their daughter was born on April 19, 2026, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

Calling the moment “beautifully and divinely connected”, the couple said they feel grateful and blessed as they embrace parenthood.

Shivaleeka and Abhishek had welcomed their first child last month and announced the birth through social media, describing their daughter as “little Goddess Laxmi”.

The couple had earlier shared their pregnancy news in December last year with a heartfelt post announcing that a “tiny blessing” was joining their lives.

Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi first met during the shooting of the 2020 film “Khuda Haafiz”, starring Vidyut Jammwal. The two got engaged in July 2022 and tied the knot in February 2023 in a private ceremony held in Goa in the presence of close family members and friends, including actor Ajay Devgn.
