Mangaluru, May 17: S.C.S Hospital, Mangalore successfully conducted a Free Diet and Nutrition Camp on 16-05-2026 to create public awareness on the importance of proper nutrition, healthy diet, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr Shalini S Rao, medical superintendent, joined by Graceamma Anthony -nursing superintendent, Dr Mallikarjun Kamashetty - Emergency Department physician, and Divya Dk - clinical nutritionist & other members.

The participants were encouraged to adopt proper diet plans by the hospital team free of cost and healthier lifestyle practices for which they were given personalized diet charts and expert guidance by the hospital team. With the increase in lifestyle disorders among Indians, it has become essential to seek guidance to combat lifestyle disorders with healthy changes. The department of dietetics and nutrition, SCS Hospital has given special focus on treating the below mentioned in this camp,
