Modi hails Cabinet nod to railway projects across 6 states; welcomes increase in SC judges

New Delhi, May 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the Union Cabinet’s approval of railway projects spanning 19 districts across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, stating that the move will significantly boost connectivity and infrastructure.

In a series of social media posts, the Prime Minister said the projects will enhance operational efficiency while contributing to the country’s economic growth. He also noted that improved rail connectivity will provide better access to key tourist destinations across the country.

Modi further appreciated the Cabinet’s decision to increase the sanctioned strength of judges in the Supreme Court from 33 to 37, describing it as a step towards strengthening the nation’s judicial infrastructure.

He said the move would help in ensuring faster delivery of justice and reducing the burden on the judiciary.
