Udupi, Apr 25: Udupi–Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary paid a cordial visit to the newly appointed bishop of the diocese of Udupi, Dr Leslie Clifford D’Souza, on Saturday April 25.
The MP met Bishop D’Souza at the bishop’s residence in Udupi and extended his congratulations on assuming the new responsibilities. He also assured his support towards initiatives aimed at community development.
The meeting witnessed a constructive discussion on various issues of mutual concern.
On the occasion, Rudolf D’Souza, president of BJP Minority Morcha, Udupi district, along with other members of the Morcha, and Fr Charles Menezes, parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi, were present.
