Udupi, Apr 19: Senior journalist Ganesh Prabhu (61) passed away on April 19 following a brief illness.
He had served for 21 years as the Udupi district correspondent for the Morning News, an English daily published from Manipal, and The Hindu, before retiring from the role. He later worked as a senior sub-editor at The New Indian Express.
The Udupi District Working Journalists’ Association has expressed deep condolences over his demise.
