Mumbai, Apr 19: Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its strong run at the box office, nearing the Rs 1,750 crore mark worldwide after completing a month in theatres. Despite a dip at the start of its fifth week, the film witnessed a notable resurgence over the weekend.

According to trade estimates, the film collected Rs 4.65 crore net in India on day 31 (fifth Saturday), marking a sharp 72 per cent jump from Rs 2.70 crore on the previous day. The total India net collection now stands at Rs 1,110.47 crore.

Globally, the film has amassed approximately Rs 1,748.91 crore, including Rs 1,329.31 crore gross from India and Rs 419.60 crore from overseas markets. On day 31 alone, it added Rs 1.10 crore from international circuits.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films, surpassing several previous records, including benchmarks set by major recent releases.

Week-wise, the film opened with a massive Rs 674.17 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 263.65 crore in week two, Rs 110.60 crore in week three, and Rs 54.70 crore in week four, before entering its fifth week with comparatively lower but steady collections.

The film’s performance comes amid competition from Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla, which has collected around Rs 35 crore net in India within its first two days.

Dhurandhar 2 has garnered widespread attention globally, contributing to renewed momentum in the careers of several associated actors. The franchise has now firmly crossed the Rs 1,000 crore milestone, cementing its place among the biggest Hindi film successes.

Industry observers note that the film’s sustained performance, even after a month in theatres, highlights its strong audience connect and box office resilience.
