Beltangady, Apr 14: The 135th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar was observed in a simple manner on April 14 at Seon Ashram Trust (Regd), Gandibagilu.
The flag hoisting ceremony was carried out by the managing trustee, Dr U C Paulose.
On this occasion, Dr U C Paulose, in his address, highlighted that the values of equality, justice, and education were upheld by Dr B R Ambedkar is essential for the progress of society. He emphasized that a better society can be built by following his principles and ideals.
Members of the management committee, staff, and inmates of the Ashram were present during the programme.
