Actor killed in late-night car crash near Kushalnagar

Kushalnagar, Apr 12: In a tragic road accident late on Saturday night, film and television supporting actor Harish (40) lost his life near the Anekadu forest area in Kushalnagar taluk of Kodagu district.

The mishap occurred on National Highway 275 when Harish was travelling from Kushalnagar to his native place Hoskote after completing work. His car reportedly rammed at high speed into a tanker parked by the roadside. The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, leading to his death on the spot.

Harish was known for his work as a supporting actor in several Kannada films and popular television serials. He was regarded as a versatile artist who balanced his professional life alongside his acting career.

On receiving information, personnel from the Kushalnagar rural police station rushed to the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
