Jaipur, Apr 11: A disturbing incident from Jaipur has sparked widespread outrage after a video showing alleged harassment of a woman on a public road went viral on social media.

The footage reportedly shows two men on a motorcycle approaching a woman riding another two-wheeler, with one of them allegedly behaving inappropriately towards her. The incident is believed to have taken place on a busy stretch of road, raising serious concerns about public safety and women’s security.

The video quickly triggered strong reactions online, with users condemning the act and demanding strict action against the accused.

Taking cognisance of the viral clip, Rajasthan Police has initiated immediate action. In a statement shared on social media, the police warned against violating the law in the pursuit of online attention.

“Don’t forget the real law in the craze for reels,” the police said, adding that its social media monitoring team keeps a constant watch on such content.

Officials confirmed that the accused have been identified using technical evidence and inputs from informants, and efforts are underway to arrest them.

Police also appealed to the public not to engage in reckless or unlawful behaviour for creating viral content, stressing that law enforcement agencies are increasingly using proactive measures to prevent such crimes.

The incident has once again raised concerns over women’s safety in public spaces and the growing misuse of social media for attention-seeking behaviour.
