Mangaluru: NSUI marks 56th Foundation Day with flag hoisting at Indira Bhavan

Mangaluru, Apr 9: The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) Dakshina Kannada District Committee celebrated its 56th Foundation Day with a flag hoisting ceremony at Indira Bhavan in Mallikatte.

Member of the Legislative Council Ivan D'Souza, who attended as the chief guest, addressed the gathering and lauded the legacy and struggles of NSUI. He highlighted the organisation’s commitment towards social justice, equality and truth, stating that its activists continue to render meaningful service to the nation.

The programme was attended by several NSUI leaders, including district president Suhan Alva and state secretary Bathish Alakemajalu. District vice presidents Sukhwinder Singh and Keerthan Kodapala, along with district leaders Shaun Siri and Najib Manchi, were also present.

NSUI Mangalore University president Safwan Kudroli and Legislative Assembly presidents Dhanush Kukketti, Sahil Manchila, Christen Menezes and Safwan Bantwal were among the key attendees. A large number of party activists participated in the event, marking the occasion with enthusiasm.
