Udupi, Apr 8: Arun Upadhyaya, associate professor and head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Arun Upadhyaya received the doctoral degree for his research thesis titled “Security Enhanced Hybrid Digital Image Encryption Technique.” His research work was carried out under the guidance of Dr Shantharama Rai C, principal of A J Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kottara, Mangaluru.
The management, principal, and staff members of SMVITM have congratulated Arun Upadhyaya on this notable academic accomplishment and conveyed their best wishes for his continued contribution to the field of research and higher education.
