Mumbai, Apr 8: Parveen Khan, mother of Bollywood actress Zareen Khan, passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 65 following prolonged health issues, family sources confirmed.

In an official statement, Zareen’s team said that Parveen Khan “departed peacefully to her heavenly abode,” leaving behind her daughters Zareen and Sana Khan. The loss has deeply affected the family, with close relatives and well-wishers expressing grief over her demise.

The funeral was held on the same day at the Versova Muslim Kabrastan in Andheri, Mumbai, where family members and friends gathered to pay their last respects.

In the days leading up to her mother’s passing, Zareen had been sharing updates about her health on social media. Fans and followers had extended prayers and support during her hospitalisation. Earlier in February, the actress had also shared an emotional note stating she would not celebrate her birthday due to her mother’s critical condition.
