Trump warns Iran ‘civilization will die’ without deal

Washington, Apr 7: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued a stark warning to Iran, saying that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if a deal is not reached to end the ongoing conflict.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he did not want such an outcome but indicated it was likely if negotiations failed.

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” he wrote.

He also suggested the possibility of political change in Iran, stating that with “complete and total regime change,” new leadership could potentially bring about a positive transformation.

Trump further described the situation as one of the most significant moments in global history, referring to decades of tensions with Iran.

“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally end. God bless the great people of Iran!” he added.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, with global attention focused on whether diplomatic efforts can prevent further escalation.
