‘Fauzi’ leaks spark warning from makers; film to release in two parts

Daijiworld Media Network - Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 5: The makers of Fauzi have issued a strict warning against the circulation of leaked images from the film’s sets after visuals surfaced on social media.

Actor Prabhas is currently shooting for the film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Taking to X, the production team cautioned that any accounts sharing leaked content would face action.

“It has come to our attention that certain accounts are circulating leaked images from the sets of #Fauzi. Please treat this as a strict warning — any such content will be reported, and necessary action will be taken,” the makers said, adding that such leaks compromise the cinematic experience.

Echoing the concern, Raghavapudi urged fans not to spoil the film’s impact. “We’ve poured our hearts into #Fauzi… please don’t spoil the magic with leaks. Let’s experience it the way it’s meant to be,” he said.

The director also confirmed that the film will be released in two parts, with the second instalment serving as a prequel. He said the narrative will explore multiple dimensions, drawing inspiration from India’s colonial past and real-life experiences.

Fauzi marks Prabhas’s first collaboration with the director of Sita Ramam and is described as a fictionalised retelling of historical events. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is slated for a 2026 release in multiple languages.

Prabhas was last seen in The Raja Saab and will next feature in Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
