Udupi, Apr 4: The re-consecration (punar pratishtha) and Brahmakalashotsava of Indrani Sri Mukhyaprana Deva Temple, Indrali, udupi, was held on Saturday, April 4, with traditional religious fervour.

The ritual was conducted under the guidance of Veda Murthy Puttur Srinivasa Tantri, in the presence of chief priest Gopalakrishna Upadhyaya. The consecration ceremony took place during the auspicious Meena Lagna, along with Ashta Bandha rituals.

On the occasion, various religious ceremonies and Maha Pooja were performed. Several dignitaries and devotees witnessed the sacred rituals. A large number of devotees offered prayers, had darshan of the deity, and received prasadam.

The series of religious programmes, which commenced on Saturday, will continue until Tuesday, April 7. The schedule includes daily pooja rituals, Maharanga Pooja, and Nagadeva-related ceremonies, along with a formal stage programme.

Brahmakalashotsava Committee president Jayakar Shetty Indrali said that several dignitaries and seers from the Ashta Mathas are expected to participate in the upcoming events.
