AIMIT observes Palm Sunday with call for deep faith and reflection

Media Release

Mangaluru, Mar 29: AIMIT marked Palm Sunday, also known as Passion Sunday, with a solemn Eucharistic celebration led by director Fr Kiran Coth, with Fr Manoj as concelebrant.

The liturgy invited the faithful to reflect on their inner selves, posing a profound question—whether one follows Christ only in moments of joy and celebration or remains steadfast even on the path of sacrifice and the Cross.

The celebration guided participants to relive the salvific events of Jesus Christ’s passion, death and resurrection, encouraging a deeper experience of God’s unconditional love and mercy.

The message also emphasised the need to hold expectations lightly while strengthening faith, reminding the congregation that moments of praise may be followed by trials, and that divine presence endures through both.

The observance set a reflective tone for the Holy Week, urging believers to walk with faith, humility and trust in God’s plan.
