Mangaluru, Mar 28: Konkan Railway has announced the extension of key train services connecting Mangaluru Junction with Surat and Ahmedabad until the end of May, ensuring uninterrupted travel for passengers on these popular routes.

According to an official release, express special train No. 09057, which runs between Surat and Mangaluru Junction every Wednesday and Sunday, will now continue operating until May 31. Its return service, train No. 09058, running between Mangaluru Junction and Surat every Thursday and Monday, has been extended until June 1.

Similarly, the weekly special train No. 09424 from Ahmedabad to Mangaluru Junction every Friday will operate until May 29, while the return service, train No. 09423, from Mangaluru Junction to Ahmedabad every Saturday, will be available until May 30.

The railway authorities urged passengers to plan their travel in accordance with the revised schedule and stay updated through official Konkan Railway channels.

Passengers and regular commuters welcomed the announcement, noting that the extensions will help ease travel during peak summer months and festival seasons.
