Mangaluru: St Agnes College hosts Valedictory Programme 2026 for UG, PG students

Mangaluru, Mar 26: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organised its Valedictory Programme 2026 for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Mother Mary Aloysia Centenary Auditorium on Monday, March 23 under the theme 'Incredible Journey Unfolds”'.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by vice principal Sr Dr Roopa Rodrigues AC, along with PG coordinator Sr Dr M Vinora AC, controller of examinations Shubarekha, student representative Shamitha of II BCom FinTech, and Akshatha Shet of I MSc. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony led by the vice principal.

Vice principal Sr Dr Roopa Rodrigues AC addressed the students, congratulating them on their achievements and encouraging them to face future challenges with confidence, resilience, and integrity. During her address, she conveyed a message from the principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC, who urged the students to uphold the values, imparted to them by the institution, prayed for their well-being, and wished them a fruitful future. She also encouraged the students to remember their alma mater and return to share their success stories, extending her best wishes for their journey ahead.

The programme featured a welcome dance, a dance drama and a farewell song, adding colour and vibrancy to the event.

Student presidents of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Ananya K Madhu and Jobi Thomas John, along with secretary Diya and vice presidents shared their experiences, cherished memories, and expressed their gratitude to the institution.

The programme was organised by the departments of journalism and mass communication and Hindi.

Staff coordinator Anusha A, co-staff coordinator Dr Uday Kumar B, dean of administration Shanthi Nazareth, along with the deans, heads of departments and faculty members were present on the occasion.
