Mumbai, Mar 21: Even as Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its strong run at the box office, drawing praise from audiences and several celebrities, the film has also sparked criticism from a section of viewers over its content.
Kannada actor and former politician Ramya took to social media platform X to share a sharp critique, describing the film as “complete propaganda” and urging director Aditya Dhar to move beyond jingoistic themes.

In a strongly worded post, Ramya said the sequel failed to live up to expectations and criticised its narrative style, calling it an “endurance test” for viewers. She remarked that the film felt overly stretched and disengaging, advising audiences to skip theatrical viewing.
Her comments come amid a mixed response to the film, which, despite its commercial success, has drawn debate over its messaging and storytelling approach.
The controversy highlights the growing divide in audience perception, with some praising the film’s scale and impact, while others question its thematic direction.
