Mumbai, Mar 19: Popular television couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are all set to embrace parenthood, with their first child due in June. The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, say the approaching due date has brought a sense of anticipation and emotional transformation into their lives.
Speaking about the journey, Vivek shared that he has been closely tracking time like never before, as the excitement builds with each passing day. For Divyanka, the experience has been deeply personal and marked by patience. She revealed that the moment of confirmation took time to sink in, describing it as a quiet happiness rather than an immediate celebration.
The actress also spoke about becoming more cautious and self-aware after learning about her pregnancy. From diet to daily routines, she said every aspect of her life underwent a change, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility and care.
Vivek described the news as a turning point, admitting that the initial reaction was one of disbelief and even a bit of panic before it gradually transformed into acceptance and joy. Adding a lighter touch, Vivek humorously shared that he has been experiencing unusual cravings, indulging in ice creams, chaats and burgers, with Divyanka joking that he seems “more pregnant” in that sense.
The couple also highlighted how the experience has strengthened their bond. Divyanka said pregnancy has brought a deeper, unspoken understanding between them, while Vivek noted that witnessing these changes has increased his respect for his partner.
