Mangaluru, Mar 17: The department of BBA, Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, organized an industrial visit to Gurucharan Industries at Baikampady, Mangaluru on March 16 for 59 students from I BBA C and II BBA A sections. The visit was accompanied by Prof Prakruthi and Prof Akshay.

The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to manufacturing operations and to help them understand real-time production processes, quality control measures, and organizational functioning in the industrial sector. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical industry experience.

During the visit, factory representatives provided an overview of the manufacturing workflow and operational procedures followed in the unit. Students observed different stages of the production process and gained insights into quality standards, hygiene practices, safety measures, and the importance of teamwork and coordination in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

The visit concluded with an interactive session where students clarified their doubts regarding production activities, business functioning, and workplace practices. The industrial exposure was well received by the students and helped enhance their practical understanding of industrial processes, observation skills, and professional awareness of organizational discipline and teamwork.
