Kundapur, Mar 13: In a tragic accident in Harikur, a 25-year-old man Shashidhar Devadiga collapsed and died after suddenly falling while heading to the bathroom behind his house on the night of March 11.

Shashidhar, a resident of Kattinamakki, Harikur, had completed his BBA and was working for a company in Bengaluru, though he had been staying in the village for the past four years due to work-from-home arrangements. Around 6:40 pm, he was sitting in the home’s sit-out area when he suddenly fell while going to the bathroom.

Family members, including his grandmother Aji Akkayya, rushed to attend to him as he complained of chest pain and difficulty breathing. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Kundapur, where doctors provided primary treatment. Unfortunately, Shashidhar did not respond to treatment and passed away that night, according to a report by his father, Sadashiva K. Ulluru.

The case has been officially recorded by authorities.
