Mumbai, Mar 10: Actor Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja addressed rumours about her parents’ alleged divorce in a vlog posted on Tuesday on her mother Sunita Ahuja’s channel, admitting that the past couple of years have been “not great”.

In the vlog, Tina revealed that she had taken over her mother’s vlog to surprise her on the occasion of Women’s Day. “Us women do a lot for others and we don’t think about ourselves. So, I thought of doing something special for my woman,” she said.

The vlog also briefly displayed a report about Govinda and Sunita reportedly heading for a divorce, following which Tina spoke about the speculation. “Two years have not been great. There has been turbulence,” she said.

Earlier, Sunita had accused Govinda of having an affair with an actress named Komal, allegations that the actor later denied.

In the video, Tina is seen buying flowers and a card for her mother before presenting her with a surprise gift. She also spoke about learning to manage household tasks after moving to another city.
“I might get trolled for this. I recently started learning how to buy vegetables like gobhi, aloo and all of that,” she said.

When Tina handed over the gifts, Sunita reflected on her life, saying she had fulfilled her responsibilities and now wanted to focus on herself. “Everything must be done in a limit. I have done all my duties but at this point I have started living for myself and I deserve more than this. Now I will live my life king size,” she said.

She also mentioned the success of her children, referring to Tina and her son Yash. Tina responded saying, “Touch wood.”

During the vlog, Tina also spoke about the importance of self-reliance in relationships, adding that people often forget themselves in love.

The highlight of the surprise was when Tina gifted Sunita a solitaire ring. Sunita said the gift came from Tina’s own earnings and added that it was another addition to her solitaire collection.
