New Delhi, Mar 8: Anurag Dobhal, popularly known online as UK07 Rider and a contestant on Bigg Boss 17, was hospitalised after crashing his car while interacting with fans during an Instagram Live session on Saturday.

Videos that surfaced on social media show Dobhal driving at high speed during the live broadcast before the vehicle crashes. In another clip, he is seen crying in pain as bystanders pull him out of the damaged car, while a separate video shows him receiving treatment at a hospital.

Early Sunday, Dobhal’s manager Rohit Panday shared an update on Instagram stating that the YouTuber is under medical observation.

“On behalf of Team UK Rider, I confirm that Anurag Dobhal is currently under medical observation in hospital. We request everyone to treat this as the official statement and avoid continuous calls regarding the situation. If there are further updates, they will be shared at the appropriate time,” the statement read.

Later, Panday posted another update saying Dobhal had been shifted to another hospital and was currently in the intensive care unit (ICU). He also thanked fans who helped locate the YouTuber after the accident and assisted in getting medical help.

The incident comes days after Dobhal shared a video on his YouTube channel alleging emotional distress caused by disputes with his family ahead of his wedding to Ritika last year.

According to Dobhal, he faced humiliation and pressure from his family before the wedding and was forced to apologise in front of relatives. He also claimed his brother Kalam Dobhal criticised him for bringing shame to the family due to his inter-caste marriage.

In the video, Dobhal said he had been under severe emotional stress and depression, stating he had been crying frequently and had not eaten for several days.

Further updates on his health condition are awaited.
