Dubai, Mar 7: Emirates on Saturday announced the temporary suspension of all flights to and from Dubai, advising passengers not to travel to the airport until further notice.
In a statement posted on X, the airline said flight operations have been halted due to the evolving situation and that further updates will be shared once more information becomes available.
“All flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. Please do not go to the airport,” the airline said, emphasising that the safety of passengers and crew remains its highest priority.

To assist travellers affected by the disruption, Emirates has introduced flexible travel options. Passengers holding bookings for travel between February 28 and March 31 will be allowed to modify their plans.
Affected travellers can rebook alternate flights to their intended destinations for travel on or before April 30.
The airline advised customers who booked tickets through travel agents to contact their agents directly for assistance. Those who booked directly with Emirates can reach out through the airline’s official support channels.
Passengers also have the option to request a refund. Customers who made direct bookings with the airline can submit a refund request through the Emirates refund form, while those who booked through travel agents must process refunds via their respective agents.
Meanwhile, Emirates announced that all city check-in facilities across Dubai have been temporarily closed until further notice.
The airline has also urged passengers to update their contact details in their booking profiles to ensure they receive the latest notifications regarding flight operations.
Emirates said it will continue to provide updates through its official communication platforms as the situation develops.
