Mangaluru, Mar 6: The Indian Institute of Skill Development and Research (IISDR), under the aegis of Utkarsh Charitable and Welfare Trust (R), is set to organize Leadership Connect 2026 – HR Meet & Professionals Roundtable on Saturday, March 7, at Vivanta, Old Port Road, Mangaluru, from 5:30 pm onwards.
The conference, themed 'Strategic leadership for sustainable growth & future-ready organizations', aims to bring together distinguished HR professionals, CXOs, business leaders, policy experts and academicians to deliberate on emerging leadership paradigms shaping the future of organizations.




The programme will be inaugurated by K G Nanjappa, director of factories, boilers, industrial safety & health, Government of Karnataka. The chief guest for the occasion will be Vishwaprasad Alva, managing director, Skanray Technologies, Mysuru. The keynote address will be delivered by Ashok Kumar Balyan, former director – HR, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), New Delhi.
The technical session on 'Labour Reforms & Leadership' will feature eminent speakers including Prashanth B K, advocate & consultant, CCI-Legal, Bengaluru.
During the event, Krishna Hegde M, GGM – HR, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), will be honoured as an outstanding contributor to HR. Among the prominent dignitaries’ present will be K S Shetty, director – HR, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Mumbai; M G Balasubrahmanya, director – HR, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bengaluru; and S K Bose, chief executive officer – HSSC & former executive director – HR, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL); Chandrashekher Shetty K, director, Yashas Management Solutions Pvt Ltd; Niranjankumar R, chief human resources officer, Karnataka Bank, Mangaluru; and Shipra Rai, vice president, Niveus Solutions, Mangaluru.
Leadership Connect 2026 is envisioned as a confluence of HR visionaries and business leaders, fostering dialogue, strategic collaboration, and transformative leadership insights aligned with evolving business landscapes and workforce dynamics. HR professionals, industry leaders and academicians from across the region are expected to participate. Dr Steevan Pinto, HR professional and programme chair of IISDR Leadership Connect 2026, stated that the forum seeks to create a robust platform for knowledge exchange, innovation in HR practices, networking and strengthening industry–academia partnerships.
