Organised by Abharan Jewellers, AbhaRun 2026 is envisioned as more than just a sporting event. The initiative aims to honour women’s strength, resilience and achievements while fostering a culture of health, inclusivity and community participation.

The event will be held from 6 am to 9 am at Ajjarkad Stadium, a popular venue in the heart of the city. Participants can choose from three categories designed to suit all fitness levels — a 5K timed run, 10K timed run and 3k fun run (non-timed).
The 3K fun run is open to all and offers a celebratory atmosphere, with all finishers receiving a medal and post-run breakfast. Top performers in the categories of 5K and 10K timed runs will be chip-timed, with online results and will get e-certificates and attractive cash prizes across age-group categories, encouraging participation from across generations.
Speaking about the event, Subhas M Kamath, managing director of Abharan Jewellers said AbhaRun is a tribute to women and a reflection of the community’s commitment to supporting and uplifting one another. Race director Likhith Shivaprasad added that the event aims to translate the spirit of Women’s Day into action by promoting fitness, friendship and shared experiences.
With hydration zones, medical support and enthusiastic volunteers in place, organisers assure participants of a safe and well-managed experience. All finishers, irrespective of distance, will receive a specially designed medal and community breakfast as a symbol of achievement and togetherness.
