Mangaluru, Feb 28: The Annual Triathlon of Ryan International School was conducted with remarkable energy and participation, reflecting the true spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition.
The school, which offers classes from Montessori to grade 10 and nurtures over 600 students, continues to emphasize holistic development through such large-scale sporting events. The much-awaited sporting event witnessed enthusiastic involvement from students and overwhelming support from parents, who gathered in large numbers to cheer for the young participants.








The Triathlon was conducted in three distinct categories, ensuring inclusive participation across grade levels.
Part A – House-wise competition (Grade 1 to 8)
In this category, the entire school participated house-wise in three separate events — swimming, cycling, and running. The selection process, which concluded after registrations closed on February 23 resulted in 200 students qualifying to compete.
The competition was intense and showcased exceptional stamina and determination.

Part B – Swimming (Montessori 3 to grade 2)
This category was exclusively designed for younger students and included swimming as the sole event. The tiny tots displayed admirable confidence and enthusiasm in the pool.

Part C – Individual Triathlon (Swimming, cycling & running)
In this challenging category, each participating student competed in all three events. A total of 106 students registered for part B and part C combined, making it a vibrant and competitive segment of the event.

The highlight of the event was the gracious participation of parents, who were invited to present medals and certificates to the winners. Their presence added warmth and encouragement, making the occasion even more memorable for the students.
The Annual Triathlon proved to be a grand celebration of endurance, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event not only fostered physical fitness but also instilled confidence, resilience, and a spirit of healthy competition among the students.
