Udupi, Feb 27: USWAS Foundation ®, Shirva, distributed uniforms and shoes to 152 students of Manasa Special School, Pamboor. The distribution programme was held on February 7, at the school hall in Pamboor.
The programme commenced with a graceful welcome dance performed by the students. John Martis, president of Manasa Trust, presided over the function and welcomed the gathering.










Speaking on the occasion, USWAS vice president Manoj Menezes said that as the organization approaches its silver jubilee celebrations, it remains committed to its noble cause of supporting people and institutions in and around Shirva. He emphasized that uniforms foster discipline and promote equality among students.
Former vice president of Shirva parish, Melwyn Aranha, appreciated the charitable initiatives undertaken by USWAS and commended the Foundation for its continued service to society.
USWAS Foundation members Nitin Castelino, Denis Mathias, Anisha Machado, local USWAS representative Mohan Noronha, and Alwyn D’Souza of Alex Textile, Shirva, were present and participated in the distribution ceremony.
Principal Sr Vinni Gonsalves expressed sincere gratitude to USWAS for their generous contribution. Secretary of the Trust Dr Gerald Pinto, founder president Dr Edward Lobo, former president Henry Menezes, along with staff and students, were present on the occasion. The program was compered by the physical education teacher.
The event reflected the spirit of service and community commitment upheld by USWAS Foundation, Shirva.
