Six killed as sleeper bus rams trailer in Rajasthan’s Balotra

Jaipur, Feb 27: Six persons were killed and several others injured after a private sleeper bus crashed into a trailer in Rajasthan’s Balotra district on Friday, police said.

According to Balotra Additional Superintendent of Police Harphool Singh, the accident occurred near Sarwadi village. “Six persons have died in collision between a bus and a trailer near Sarwadi village,” he said.

Police said the impact of the collision was severe, leaving the front portion of the bus badly mangled.

A rescue operation was launched immediately with the help of local residents. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
