Chennai, Feb 26: Actor Sree Vishnu on Thursday revealed that his upcoming film Vishnu Vinyasam, directed by Yadunaath Maruthi Rao, will have a crisp runtime of 1 hour and 59 minutes. Assuring audiences that the shorter duration would not dilute the fun, the actor quipped that while the film’s length may be “on a diet,” the entertainment would feel like “a full meal with extra dessert.”
Sharing the update on X, Sree Vishnu invited families to watch the film in theatres and promised a laugh-filled experience worth repeat visits. The film is scheduled for release on February 27.

Produced by Sumanth Naidu G under the Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas banner as its third venture, the film is presented by Hema and Shalini, with Sai Krishna Bobba and Ramachary M serving as co-producers.
The makers had earlier unveiled the title through a vibrant animated teaser that hinted at the film’s quirky tone and urban setting. The glimpse showed Sree Vishnu riding through the city on a custom-built yellow motorcycle, showcasing his trademark comic timing and eccentric screen presence. The teaser ended with the punchy tagline, “No Brakes – Just Laughs,” along with a playful voiceover suggesting that “History, Numerology, Astrology were all invented for him,” teasing a light-hearted and unconventional narrative.
True to his reputation for choosing offbeat scripts that balance novelty with strong entertainment value, Sree Vishnu appears to have selected another distinctive story.
Actress Nayana Sarika plays the female lead, while the supporting cast features a host of seasoned performers including Satya, Brahmaji, Praveen, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyyengar, Satyam Rajesh, Srinivas Vadlamani and Goparaju Ramana.
Sources close to the production had earlier confirmed that the entire talkie portion of the film was completed in December last year.
On the technical front, the film brings together a seasoned crew, with cinematography by Sai Sriram, music composed by Radhan, art direction by A. Ramanjaneyulu and editing handled by Kartikeyan Rohini.
