Udupi Feb 25: In response to increasing passenger demand, the South Western Railway has decided to temporarily attach additional coaches to the Panchaganga Express operating between KSR Bengaluru and Karwar.
According to a release from the Konkan Railway, the arrangement will be in effect from March 2 to April 16.

At present, the train runs with 14 LHB coaches. From March 2, five additional coaches will be added, taking the total composition to 19 coaches during the temporary period.
The additional coaches will include one First Class AC coach, one AC 3-tier economy coach, one sleeper coach, and three general coaches.
Railway authorities stated that the move has been taken to accommodate the growing number of passengers travelling on the route.
