Mumbai, Feb 24: Actor Huma Qureshi has reacted to the upcoming box office clash between Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Toxic, calling it a “win-win” situation for both the film industry and audiences.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is slated for release on March 19 during the Eid weekend. The film will face competition from Toxic, headlined by Yash, setting the stage for one of the biggest cinematic showdowns of the year.

Speaking to Variety India, Huma said that irrespective of the clash, the outcome would be positive. “No matter what I say, whichever way I look at it, it is a win for the Indian film industry and it’s going to be great for the audiences. It’s a win-win,” she said, adding that there is enough space for both films to perform well.
Earlier, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta had also shared his views on the clash, noting that while both films are highly anticipated, releasing together may impact their individual box office potential.
Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, serves as the sequel to the 2025 film and concludes the two-part franchise. Meanwhile, Toxic, written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
With both big-budget films arriving during the festive Eid weekend, trade circles are closely watching how the box office battle unfolds.
