Mumbai, Feb 21: Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, founder-chairperson of Reliance Foundation, hosted former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at their Mumbai residence, Antilia, for an intimate evening marked by cultural exchange and forward-looking conversations.
The gathering, attended by their daughter Isha Ambani, blended personal warmth with discussions on sustainability, innovation and global cooperation. Gentle live music set the tone for the evening as the hosts and their guest engaged in cordial interactions.

Nita Ambani appeared in a blue floral saree with understated jewellery, while Mukesh Ambani opted for a classic white shirt and black trousers. Clinton chose an all-white ensemble paired with a beige overcoat and statement neckpiece, complementing the elegant ambience of the soirée.
Clinton’s visit follows her participation in the inaugural Mumbai Climate Week, where she lauded India’s leadership in climate innovation and adaptation. She emphasised the urgency of collaborative action and the need to build sustainable models independent of political timelines in the United States.
Recalling her tenure as US Secretary of State, Clinton reflected on initiatives launched in India to promote clean cooking solutions and improve household health through market-based approaches. She noted that such grassroots innovations, though modest in scale, can have far-reaching global impact.
Clinton shares longstanding ties with the Ambani family and has attended several of their family events in the past, including pre-wedding celebrations of Isha Ambani in 2018. The evening at Antilia once again underscored the enduring personal and professional bonds that continue to shape Indo-US engagement across business, culture and environmental stewardship.
