Los Angeles, Feb 6: Actor Elizabeth Debicki has described her experience of working on The Adventures of Cliff Booth, the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, as a “dream”, saying she thoroughly enjoyed sharing screen space with Brad Pitt.
Speaking during the premiere of her upcoming film Wicker at the Sundance Film Festival, Debicki confirmed that she has wrapped up shooting for The Adventures of Cliff Booth. The film sees Brad Pitt reprising his Oscar-winning role as Cliff Booth, with Tarantino on board as the writer and David Fincher directing the project.

“It was just such a dream to make. I absolutely loved it,” Debicki said while talking about the sequel. Recalling the filming experience, she added that the project was shot over nearly six months in Los Angeles.
“I adored working with David. I just love him to pieces. And I loved working with Brad in his absolutely iconic role. It was a joy. I was very, very happy on that job,” she said.
The Adventures of Cliff Booth also features Timothy Olyphant reprising his role as James, along with Scott Caan, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis, JB Tadena and Debicki herself.
According to reports, the film is expected to be the most expensive collaboration between Tarantino and Fincher, with a reported budget of around $200 million. The project is scheduled for release in select theatres and on Netflix in 2026.
Debicki, who has a strong slate of upcoming projects, said she is keen to continue working despite her busy schedule. “There’s not a lot of things you can control in life,” she said, adding that being selective about collaborators and surrounding oneself with honest and kind people is important.
Up next, Debicki will be seen in the romantic fantasy drama Wicker, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24. The film’s theatrical release date is yet to be announced.
