Kadaba: Suspected plastic waste consumption claims life of bull in Subrahmanya

Kadaba, Feb 4: A bull that had reportedly fallen ill died in Subrahmanya, with suspected consumption of plastic waste believed to be the cause of its death.

The incident occurred near Adi Subrahmanya in Subrahmanya, where the bull was found in an ailing condition. Upon being alerted, the president of the Subrahmanya temple and others visited the spot to assess the situation. However, by the time they arrived, the animal had already succumbed, following which its last rites were conducted.

Locals suspect that the bull consumed plastic waste that had been indiscriminately dumped in the surrounding area, leading to its death. The incident has sparked concern among residents, who have urged authorities and the public to strictly control the disposal of plastic waste and prevent people from throwing plastic indiscriminately to avoid such incidents in the future.
