Mangaluru: Kodikal resident missing for two months, police seek help

Mangaluru, Feb 4: A 65-year-old man from Kodikal has been missing for nearly two months, prompting his family to lodge a complaint at the Urwa police station.

The missing person has been identified as Suresh (65), a resident of Kodikal. According to the complaint, Suresh left his house at around 9.30 am on November 25, 2025, and did not return thereafter.

Family members stated that on November 29, they received a phone call from an unknown number originating from Bhiwandi in Maharashtra. During the call, Suresh reportedly informed them that he would return home within two days. However, since then, there has been no further contact, and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Suresh is described as approximately 6 feet tall, dark-complexioned, with a lean build and a sharp facial structure. At the time he left home, he was wearing a long-sleeved blue-and-white shirt with white stripes. He is fluent in Kannada, Hindi, and Tulu.

Urwa police have registered a missing person case and have appealed to the public to provide any information that may help trace him. Anyone with relevant details is requested to contact the nearest police station or Urwa police.
