New Delhi, Jan 30: Smartphone innovation in India is entering a new phase, moving beyond bigger screens and higher numbers to deliver more practical, camera-driven and design-led experiences. Reflecting this shift, OPPO has introduced its Reno15 Series in the Indian market, featuring the Reno15, Reno15 Pro and the newly launched Reno15 Pro Mini.
The standout addition is the Reno15 Pro Mini, OPPO’s first compact smartphone designed specifically for Indian users. With growing fatigue around oversized devices, the new model targets buyers looking for better portability and one-hand comfort, especially for daily travel and commuting. Unlike earlier compact phones that often came with compromises, OPPO claims the Pro Mini offers the same 200MP camera system and telephoto capabilities as the larger Pro model, along with a battery built for full-day use.

The Reno15 Series continues OPPO’s camera-first approach, with imaging positioned as a core experience rather than a spec highlight. The Pro variants feature a 200MP main camera, 3.5x telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view. The lineup also supports 4K video recording at 60fps across multiple focal lengths, aimed at users who frequently capture portraits, wide shots and video content for social platforms.
OPPO has also highlighted its PureTone imaging tuning, developed for more natural colour output and balanced contrast, with special attention to Indian skin tones. Alongside camera hardware, the series includes AI-based creative tools such as Popout and AI Portrait Glow, enabling quick, share-ready edits directly on the device without relying heavily on third-party apps.
Design remains another key focus, with the Reno15 Series introducing OPPO’s HoloFusion design on the Glacier White variant, featuring layered glass treatment and light-reactive textures for a shifting visual effect. The phones also include an aerospace-grade aluminium frame and carry IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications, underlining durability for everyday use.
Powering the lineup is ColorOS 16, supported by OPPO’s Trinity Engine and Luminous Rendering Engine, aimed at ensuring long-term smooth performance. AI features such as AI MindSpace and deeper Google Gemini integration are designed to support productivity and smarter workflows, while security enhancements including PCC (Private Computing Cloud) and O-Lock are intended to strengthen user trust and data protection.
The OPPO Reno15 Series is now available in India, with prices starting at Rs 45,999.
