Singapore, Jan 28: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to lend his voice to ‘The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky’, a spectacular fireworks display on Disney’s upcoming Disney Adventure cruise line.

The cruise, which is Asia’s first Disney Cruise Line experience, will make its debut sailing from Singapore on March 10, 2026, with Shah Rukh Khan’s narration adding a special touch to the iconic Lion King theme as the skies light up with fireworks.

SRK’s association with Disney’s The Lion King franchise goes back several years. He had earlier dubbed for the Hindi versions of The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024). Now, the actor is set to return once again to the Disney universe in 2026.

Tickets for the maiden voyage reportedly start at Rs 1.83 lakh for a four-night cruise from Singapore. The cruise will feature Broadway-style shows, pools, waterslides, themed entertainment, and activities for both adults and children.

With 17 decks, the Disney Adventure can accommodate over 6,000 passengers and includes seven immersive zones, such as:

• Disney Imagination Garden

• Toy Story Place

• Marvel Landing

• San Fransokyo Street (Big Hero 6)

• Wayfinder Bay (Moana)

• Disney Discovery Reef

• Town Square

The aerial fireworks show will blend Disney magic with a Bollywood flavour, with SRK’s voice expected to feature on select evenings, accompanied by popular tracks like Circle of Life and Hakuna Matata.

Apart from The Lion King franchise, Shah Rukh Khan had also lent his voice to Mr Incredible (Hindi version titled Mr Lajawab) in The Incredibles (2004). His son Aryan Khan had also voiced a character in the film, while later projects saw his sons involved again during the Hindi dubbing of Mufasa-related roles.
