Ryan International School, Kulai wins first prize at Coast Guard inter-school quiz

Mangaluru, Jan 24: Ryan International School, Kulai, Mangaluru clinched the first prize at the Inter-School Quiz Competition organised on the occasion of the 50th Raising Day celebrations of the Indian Coast Guard.

The competition was held on January 23, at the Coast Guard District Headquarters No. 3 (CGDHQ-3), Panambur, New Mangaluru, and witnessed intense participation from several schools across the region.

The winning team from Ryan International School comprised Claire Meghan D'Souza of grade 9, Athreya Prashanth of grade 9, and Rithwik Prabhu of grade 7. The students impressed the judges with their sharp knowledge, quick responses and excellent teamwork, emerging victorious in a closely contested quiz.

Principal Vaijayanthi Hegde congratulated the students on their achievement and said that the victory reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and all-round development. She lauded the students for their confidence, discipline and dedication, which led to their success at a prestigious national-level event.

The school management, staff and students expressed pride over the achievement and wished the winners continued success in future academic competitions.
