Mumbai, Jan 22: Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav have sparked strong buzz with the gripping teaser of Tu Yaa Main, a suspense-packed film that blends romance, danger and survival in an unexpected setting. The teaser pulls viewers into the seemingly glamorous lives of two social media content creators, only to twist sharply into a nightmare when they come face-to-face with a deadly crocodile.

Opening with a playful nod to Khoon Bhari Maang, the teaser introduces Shanaya Kapoor as the stylish influencer Miss Vanity, while Adarsh Gourav appears as ‘A’, a confident creator from Nalasopara. What begins as fun collaborations and adrenaline-fuelled adventures soon spirals into horror as the pair find themselves trapped in a blood-soaked pool, stalked by a relentless predator.

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film promises to turn an ordinary date into a chilling survival story, positioning itself as a unique #DateFright watch for audiences looking for something darker than the usual Valentine’s fare. Set against the backdrop of today’s creator-driven culture, Tu Yaa Main explores themes of attraction, fear and instinct when love collides with mortal danger.

The film is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Colour Yellow, along with Vinod Bhanushali and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Bhanushali Studios Limited. It is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026.

Shanaya Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey, continues to carve her space in the industry with experimental projects. Though her debut film struggled at the box office despite heavy promotion, Tu Yaa Main signals a bold shift in her choices.

Shanaya is the daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and is related to prominent Bollywood names including Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor.
