‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ teaser hints at a tender, unfinished love story

Mumbai, Jan 19: The teaser of the much-anticipated film Do Deewane Seher Mein was unveiled on Monday, offering a glimpse into a contemporary romance shaped by longing, hesitation and the quiet emotions of almost-falling in love.

Starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the film explores relationships that exist in the in-between spaces — the unanswered questions, missed moments and fragile hopes that define modern love. Rather than following a conventional romantic arc, the teaser suggests a story built around uncertainty, self-discovery and emotional restraint.

Adding to its nostalgic charm, the makers have reimagined the iconic song Do Deewane Seher Mein, using it as the emotional backbone of the teaser. The evocative music blends seamlessly with the film’s gentle, reflective tone. The chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur comes across as natural and deeply moving, portraying two individuals still finding their footing — both in life and in love — a perspective rarely explored with such sensitivity.

The film positions itself as a Valentine’s release for audiences who view love as imperfect, confusing and yet deeply meaningful. Instead of prescribing emotions, Do Deewane Seher Mein appears to invite viewers to experience and interpret its feelings at their own pace.

Presented by Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions, the film is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. The romantic drama is scheduled to hit theatres on February 20, 2026.

Meanwhile, on the personal front, recent speculation linking Mrunal Thakur to an alleged wedding with actor Dhanush has been doing the rounds on social media. However, there has been no official statement or confirmation from either party. The actress’s team has firmly dismissed the rumours, clarifying that there are no wedding plans at present.
