Chennai, Jan 8: Director Gunasekhar’s upcoming film Euphoria, a contemporary social drama headlined by Bhoomika Chawla, is scheduled to arrive in theatres on February 6, the makers announced on Thursday.
Backed by Guna Handmade Films and presented by Sri Thenandal Films, Euphoria marks Gunasekhar’s return to socially driven storytelling. The filmmaker, widely known for acclaimed works such as Okkadu starring Mahesh Babu and the historical epic Rudhramadevi featuring Anushka Shetty, brings a fresh perspective with this project.

According to sources close to the production, the film introduces several new faces and is anchored in a distinctive concept that mirrors the emotional and psychological challenges confronting today’s youth. The narrative is said to strike a balance between youthful energy and family-oriented storytelling, making it relatable across age groups.
At its core, Euphoria examines the changing dynamics between young adults and their parents, exploring generational conflicts and emotional bonds with nuance and sensitivity. The makers believe this theme will resonate strongly with both younger audiences and family viewers.
The film boasts a strong ensemble cast that includes Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sara Arjun and Nassar in key roles, alongside Bhoomika Chawla. Coming on the heels of her success in the blockbuster Dhurandhar, Euphoria is being seen as an important next step in Sara Arjun’s career and has already sparked considerable anticipation.
In addition, the film features Rohith, Vignesh Kavi Reddy, Likitha Yalamanchili, Adala Prudhvi Raj, Kalpa Latha, Sai Sreenika Reddy, Ashritha Vemuganti, Matthew Varghese, Adarsh Balakrishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveena Reddy and Likith Nayudu in supporting roles.
Notably, Euphoria reunites Gunasekhar and Bhoomika Chawla nearly two decades after their earlier collaboration. Industry sources say Bhoomika plays a strong, impactful character specially written for her, making her performance one of the film’s standout elements.
Promising an emotionally rich and meaningful cinematic experience, Euphoria features music composed by Kaala Bhairava, cinematography by Praveen K. Pothan, dialogues by Nagendra Kasi and Krishna Hari, and editing by Praveen Pudi.
