Mangaluru, Jan 7: 'Karnataka Business Tonic Sardha Trishatham', celebrated its 350th episode on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Fr L F Rasquinha Hall, St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. The title sponsor was Karnataka Bank.
The programme opened with a vibrant welcome dance, followed by directors of Namma Kudla, Leelaksha Karkera and Harish Karkera graciously escorted the esteemed dignitaries were Ragavendra Srinivas Bhat, MD & CEO, Karnataka Bank, Krishna Hegde Miyar, group general manager (HR), MRPL, Fr Dr Praveen Marties SJ, vice chancellor, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), and the chief guests Suryakanth J Suvarna, chairman, Bharath Co-operative Bank, Mumbai, P B Ahmed Mudassar, president, KCCI, Mangaluru, Gunakara Ramdasa, president, ISCKON, Mangaluru and Dr Ronald Nazareth, registrar, St Aloysius(Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.



The proceedings graced forward with a soulful prayer, solemnly offered by Muralidhar G Shenoy.
CA S S Nayak, anchor and chief editor of 'Business Tonic' ,delivered the welcome address, felicitated the esteemed dignitaries with shawls, and provided a brief overview of the programme for the day and explained his journey of 7 years of weekly series of .350 Episodes and applauded the 700 plus resource persons, title sponsor Karnataka Bank and the viewers for their continuous support.
This programme also featured the honoring of CA S S Nayak, the brain behind this show, the man under whose guidance the episodes of business tonic have won appreciation from businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors and reached the hearts of millions of viewers .
The ceremony then commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Krishna Hegde Miyar, group general manager (HR), MRPL followed by an official inauguration of the programme with the release of documentary of the Business Tonic journey from Episode 300 to 350 by Raghavendra Srinivas Bhat, MD & CEO, Karnataka Bank.
The inaugural address was delivered by Raghavendra Srinivas Bhat, managing director & CEO, Karnataka Bank and commended CA S.S Nayak on his ability to produce an appropriate Sanskrit Sholka befitting any situation and talks about how India has been recognised as the fourth largest economy in world. And how in recognition of the stratergic importance of MSMEs to the country the Karnataka Bank ensurces access to timely, adequate and affordable credit.
Followed by insightful addresses by Krishna Hegde Miyar, group general manager (HR), MRPL, he started by complimenting CA S S Nayak on successful conduction of 350 episodes and then highlighted MRPL's signficant contributions across various fields.
Suryakanth J Suvarna, chairman, Bharath Cooperative Bank, Mumbai, acknowledged the efforts of CA S S Nayak for consistently running the program and briefly touched upon the significance of cooperative banks in supporting local economies and communities.
P B. Ahmed Mudassar, president, KCCI, Mangaluru commended CA S S Nayak for his vision in making Business Tonic. He emphasised on the relevance of the programme to entrepreneurs and the role of KCCI towards supporting and nurturing businesses.
Gunakara Ramadasa, president, ISCKON, Mangaluru, congratulated CA S S Nayak and talked about how values and ethics are important in any business.
Fr Dr Praveen Martis S J, vice chancellor, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru in his address expressed his gratitude on being invited and emphasised Business Tonic’s role in educating the public and praised the programme for its consistency and positive impact on the society.
One of the special invitees was Prof Harikrishna Bhat Alevoor, the former director of HCL and Wipro, Japan, who was felicitated for his valuable contribution to Business Tonic and for facilitating hundreds of Indian young engineers to get placement in Japan.
As the concluding segment of the programme, the resource persons who had participated in Episodes 300 to 350 were felicitated. Their insights and experiences played a significant role in enriching the programme and in disseminating meaningful knowledge to a wide audience. This felicitation served as a fitting and memorable finale to the programme.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Leelaksha B Karkera, director, Namma Kudla expressing sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, speakers, organizers, and participants for their support and presence.
The inaugural ceremony was followed by the 350th episode topic presentation 'Indianomics 2026' with the esteemed panelists Sunil Subramanian, founder & CEO, Sense and Simplicity, Chennai, CA Rudramurthy B V, founder, Vachana Investment Pvt Ltd. Bengaluru, CA S S Nayak, senior partner: S S Nayak & Associates, Bengaluru & Mangaluru and CA Sanketh S Nayak, partner: S S Nayak & Associates, Bengaluru which was moderated by Dr Chandrakanth Bhat, founder: NRI Money Clinic.
