Bengaluru, Jan 5: Actress Disha Madan, widely recognised for her stylish screen presence, recently shared delightful details about her real-life love story in an interview with Radio City Kannada. Known to television audiences as Bhavana from the serial Lakshminivasa, Disha, a mother of two, revealed how a simple social media message led to her marriage.

Recalling the early days, Disha said, “I had around 25,000 followers on social media. Shashank Vasuki Gopal messaged me saying my profile seemed funny. I replied, and soon we realised we had so much in common.” At just 24, she faced family pressure to marry, and astrologers had even prepared horoscopes. When she discussed it with Shashank, he immediately agreed to marry her, leading to a spontaneous and joyful wedding. Today, they are proud parents to Vian and Avira.

Fans, however, have been charmed not only by her love story but also by the way Disha shared it in Kannada, thanking her for sprinkling a few Kannada words in an otherwise English interview.

Disha Madan, who also shone on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet last year, continues to win hearts with her style and candid storytelling about life beyond the screen.
