Bengaluru, Dec 31: Congress MLA N A Haris was conferred with the prestigious ‘Pride of Karnataka’ award by the Bengaluru Press Club during a special ceremony held at the Press Club premises here. The award was presented to him in the presence of deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar.

The event was attended by Speaker of Legislative Assembly U T Khader, ministers Ramalinga Reddy and Madhu Bangarappa, Rahim, and Bengaluru city police commissioner Seemanth Kumar, along with several other dignitaries.

The award recognises N A Haris for his significant contributions to public service and social welfare, as well as his commitment to serving the people.
