Mumbai, Dec 30: Telugu cinema icon Chiranjeevi has expressed his solidarity with longtime friend and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal following the demise of the latter’s mother, Santhakumari Amma.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Chiranjeevi shared an emotional message, offering comfort and strength to Mohanlal during this period of grief. In his note, he reflected on the irreplaceable influence of a mother, emphasising how her love and presence continue to guide and support her children long after she is gone. He assured Mohanlal and his family that they remain in his thoughts and prayers, and wished eternal peace for her soul.

Santhakumari Amma passed away on Tuesday at the age of 90. Mohanlal, who was in Kochi at the time, rushed to be with his family as soon as he received the news. Her passing marks the end of a life remembered for grace, discipline, and quiet strength.
