Udaipur, Dec 30: After months of speculation, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are reportedly moving ahead with wedding plans, following a private engagement earlier this year. The couple is said to have exchanged rings on October 3, in a low-key ceremony attended only by close family and friends in Hyderabad.

According to reports, the wedding is planned for February 26, 2026, at a heritage palace in Udaipur. Like their engagement, the ceremony is expected to be intimate and private, with only close relatives present. Details about any post-wedding celebration or a star-studded party in Hyderabad remain unconfirmed.

Rashmika and Vijay have consistently kept their personal life away from the public eye. The engagement news first emerged through media reports, as neither of them issued official statements or shared photos on social media.

Rashmika has maintained her calm stance on wedding rumours, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “I wouldn't like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it's to be spoken about, we shall.”

Earlier, during the success meet of her film The Girlfriend, she expressed her admiration for Vijay, saying, “Viju, you've been a part of this film since the beginning… and you're a part of the success of the film… You've been a part of this whole journey so personally. I can just hope that everyone has a Vijay Deverakonda in their lives because that's a blessing.”

The actors first shared the screen in Geetha Govindam and later in Dear Comrade. Over the years, their professional camaraderie grew into a strong personal bond, culminating in their private engagement.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the February celebrations, which promise to be a quiet yet elegant affair, true to the couple’s preference for privacy.
